Accessibility Statement

Zones of Regulation® Digital Curriculum
Last updated: January 2026

The Zones of Regulation Digital Curriculum is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible digital experience for all educators and learners, including individuals with disabilities. We are actively working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to comply with relevant U.S. accessibility laws, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. We also work to align with international accessibility standards including EN 301 549, Accessible Canada Act (ACA), Australia Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), and other regional accessibility requirements.

Accessibility Features

We have taken the following steps to support accessibility:

  • Consistent and semantic heading structure
  • Text alternatives for meaningful non-text content
  • Responsive design with resizable text
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and forms
  • Color contrast that meets WCAG requirements

We conduct ongoing accessibility testing using automated tools and manual evaluation, including keyboard and screen-reader testing, across representative pages and workflows.

Current Limitations

Some embedded third-party components, including interactive SCORM-based presentations and PDF documents, may not yet fully support keyboard navigation, screen reader interaction, or complete document tagging. These components are integral to the curriculum and are addressed in our accessibility remediation planning.

Conformance Planning / Status

  • Our platform has been evaluated for conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA. Based on this evaluation, the platform supports most success criteria, with partial support for specific criteria, primarily related to third-party and embedded content.
  • A formal Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) was completed in January 2026.
  • To request a copy of the ACR, or to ask questions related to accessibility conformance, contact: [email protected].
